So at 2pm today I started my journey to the beach! If all goes well I'll get there on Sunday. Hopefully the train won't derail. We have a conference from December 12-18 in Kribi, which is on the coast. Then I'm going to stay at the beach until December 24th. From December 24-26, I will be climbing mount cameroon. Now it might not be the best idea to start my mountain climbing career on a big mountain, but I'm going for it. I'll be back up in the Extreme North for New Years. So I may not post anything for a while, but don't worry I'll take lots of pictures :) I'll miss everyone during the holidays, but I think it won't be too bad when I'm on top of the mountain on xmas day. straddling my coworkers when they give me a ride home on their motorcycle
haggling for everything you buy
sweeping the dirt in front of your house every morning
people going through your garbage
having to burn the rest of my garbage on the side of my house
still having to explain that I am a volunteer and not a rich american
